Dapper Effects: Simplicity is the Ultimate Sophistication

This is definitely something I believe in and abide by both at home and in the classroom. It may not always look that way because my spots for certain beloved objects and also mundane necessities may not make sense to others but they make sense to me.  

My husband is the same way. My kids are too,  at least I thought, but there are several exceptions I just noticed as I looked into their rooms so I will not even discuss that. 

This outfit consists of an Express cocktail dress I found at Thredup, a hat from Burlington Coat Factory and Tights from Leg Appeal. The bag is extremely precious to me because my friend Judy Burns, who I have the pleasure of working with every day, gave it to me. It means so much that to me that it was her mom's and she knew I would cherish it.  

I definitely feel a sense of control and confidence when everything is organized. Although my style is full of variety, contradictions, and constantly changing and evolving I like the organization of it all to be simple. I may share some of my strategies on another post but honestly I don't have anything as special as what I recently found for my husband.

After a long day and with so many things going on all the time the last thing a guy wants to worry about is where to place his wallet, jewelry, watch, keys and coins. That's precisely why I am glad I found this Dapper Effects valet tray.
